WHO WE ARE

Vision, Mission, Core Value

Cambodian Amanah Takaful Association

The Cambodian Amanah Takaful Association (CATA) obtained registration from the Ministry of Interior through a letter numbered 7260, dated December 20, 2022.

The esteemed HE Oknha Dato Dr. Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission-Islamic Affairs, represents CATA as the Chair of Board Director, while Mr. Sen Saman serves as the Executive Director. CATA exists as a Muslim association, whose members contribute through regular membership fees, Sadaqah money, and Zakat Distributor, all of which aid one another during times of emergency.

CATA’s primary focus is the enhancement of fund support for the Cambodian Muslim community, as well as the development of human resources and the economy of the community. Furthermore, with a keen attention to humanitarian principles, CATA advocates for promoting the welfare of the community.

VISION

CATA wants to witness the Islamic community in Cambodia endowed with elevated capacity, profound knowledge, and progressive development across all spheres of living with utmost respect and an improved standard of life.

MISSION

We are proud to collaborate with esteemed leaders from the Muslim Movement Committee (MMC), Cambodian Muslim Development Foundation (CMDF), Highest Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Cambodia (HICIRAC), Cambodian Muslim Youth Alliance (CMYA), as well as other reputable Islamic institutions. Our joint efforts aim to effectively disseminate the goals and activities of the CATA to the Muslim community, inviting them to join as members.

 

At CATA, we strongly believe in the power of partnership. Therefore, we enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to collaborate with respected Muslim donors and countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye. Together, we strive to create positive impact for the Muslim community in Cambodia and beyond.
